TOP 10 2014 STYLE ICONS
2014 was a year for fashion risk taking and a whole new acceptance for style.
Lots of new faces were introduced to us this year, and we're lucky enough to have their impressive fashion sense following closely behind them. Lets have a look at the new and the not so new (but just as inspiring) players in the game for 2014 fashion.
1. Rihanna
Like it or not Rih has had quite a year in fashion, marking her biggest mark exposing all in an iconic swarovski number at the CFDA Awards, taking home the Style Icon Award! [x] She brought a new level into risky fashion and even set a trend for other style icons.
2. Gigi Hadid
Do you need a better definition of sex appeal? This young model is the perfect example of up and coming. Making it big in 2014, many are expecting big things for this bombshell and her trendy style.
3. Olivia Palermo
This gorgeous lady made major headlines after stepping out in one simple yet stunningly beautiful wedding outfit.

4. Kendall Jenner
Kendall has finally stepped out from behind her many sisters and made 2014 her year, modelling for some of the top designers out there including Marc Jacobs, Givenchy and Chanel. As if she couldn't get much more successful, she's also making headlines with her incredible style! This 19 year old knows what shes doing, and to many is the new it-girl.
5. Zendaya
Could you think of a better possible outcome for a former Disney Channel star? Zendaya has taken people by storm by leaving behind the childish TV shows and is now onto bigger and better things, including a brand new style... And its never been riskier! This young lady has been a sure trend setter for 2014 with the ability to be daring and rock absolutely anything.
6. Cara Delevingne
I don't think any of us need the "Incase you've been living under a rock" speech, because we're all bound to know these famous brows by now... and the beauty that owns them. Cara Delevingne has been sweeping the modelling nation for quite a while now, but still managed to make a bang with her gorgeous style in 2014.
7. Lupita Nyong'o
After making it big in the 2013 award winning film 12 Years a Slave, Lupita Nyong'o became quite award winning herself in 2014. Making headlines in her Oscars outfit dress, Nyong'o continuously stepped out in the most gorgeous outfits, looking stunning in the brightest colours. She took the fashion world by storm with her class and beauty.
8. Amal Alamuddin
Big thank you to George Clooney for introducing this amazing woman to us all this year! Not only is she smart and gorgeous, but she has us all drooling over her style. Classy seems to be this womans middle name, and you will never see her in anything but pure luxury. You will also never see her without her purely luxurious man by her side!
9. Anna Dello Russo
Although her style may not be everyone's taste, Anna Dello Russo, editor-at-large and creative consultant for Vogue Japan, had turned heads with almost every piece she chose to step out in during 2014. You can't help but admit that she has confidence to go out in some of the strangest pieces. A lot of the things she appears in are so strange that its almost a form of fashion artwork.
10. Kate Middleton
Looking through the style of the Duchess of Cambridge is like a breath of fresh air. It's 10 times more inspiring to know that she can still look as gorgeous and classy as she does even when she is pregnant! Many were (and still are) inspired and excited for her pregnancy style this year, as her last was as breathtaking as ever! Her gorgeous pregnancy style will surely carry strongly throughout 2015.
